Our Taiwanese parent company has been successfully manufacturing high quality saw blades since 1980. In 1993, the decision was made to venture into the U.S. market leading to the inception of Popular Machinery & Tools, Inc. or Popular Tools headquartered in San Antonio, Texas.
In 1999, demand led us to open a second warehouse in Santa Fe Springs, California. Shortly thereafter in 2000, we became members of the acclaimed International Saw and Knife Association and in 2002, opened our third warehouse in High Point, North Carolina.
Although circular saw blades were established as our core business, we added solid carbide bits in early 2008. This sector has become a vital part of our business mix allowing us to better serve existing customers and obtain new ones.
As time passes and our company grows, we continually update our machinery adapting to changes in technology and the marketplace. With a fully-automated facility, we are able to manufacture all of our carbide and PCD blades in-house at our Taiwanese factory. With this capability, we established our very successful custom saw blade program which boasts a quick 2-4 week delivery time.
